Beloved Members of the Faith,
It is such a joy for me to be here at the Duvall Evangelical Methodist Church, taking part in this important restart of ministry. The dear faithful members of this congregation have welcomed me with loving arms, and have shown me enormous grace and warmth. I praise God for them and their steadfast commitment to Christian fellowship, discipleship and prayer!
It has been my privilege to serve the EMC over the years. I believe with all my heart in the polity, traditions, teachings, work and leadership of our beloved denomination. The Evangelical Methodist Church has stayed true to the biblical, historic faith once established by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
There are many who do not yet know Christi in the Duvall area and I believe their conversion and subsequent membership in our church will form an important part of hte foundation of this vibrant new ministry. I am also looking forward to meeting believers who may not be attending a church right now, and encouraging them to come and worship with us. Everyone in the Duvall area, regardless of their place in their faith journey is welcome at the Duvall Evangelical Methodist Church! Our service times can be found on the previous page.
My views on the Church of Jesus Christ are simple and historically based. The Church is a conduit of God's grace and love to a hurting, dying world. It is the fellowship of all those who know Christ, and call Him Lord. The Church is an educational center, whereby disciples are made and encouraged to use their God-given gifts. And, it is supremely a redemptive society, always praying, always loving and always giving. I love the Church, the Bride of Christ, and am deeply grateful to serve her here at the Duvall Evangelical Methodist Church.
Love in Christ,
Pastor Tad Stinson
